Antique Thai lacquered bamboo basket with raised decorative swirls, and reflective mirrors. The decorations can be seen around the entire bowl.

This decorative piece is very unusual, rare, and collectible. Despite the paint loss and loss of a few bits of bamboo along the rim, the craftmanship and level of detail is gorgeous! The rounded oval bowl stands raised on four wooden feet.

Condition:
This item has normal wear as expected with age. The lacquer finish has chips throughout. Some of the tiny mirrors are missing. There are some small chips around the inside lip. Please see the photos for details and remember to use the zoom feature.
