Vintage Little Girl Sailor Costume, Red, White and Blue with Sequin and Ribbon Accent, Beach Nursery, Little Girls Room, Sailor Decor

Do you have a vintage beach/sailing theme going on in your home or workplace? Then this vintage, sailor-inspired leotard with attached tulle petticoat is just the unique piece to have on display! This is such a sweet costume. The vintage fabric with sailboats is amazing. And, the sequin trim and tutu in bright red = gorgeous!!

This item is for display. I don't recommend it to be worn as the fabric is old and fragile. Made by Costume Gallery, which is a company in Pennsylvania that has been producing costumes since 1959.

I think this dress would look wonderful as a conversation piece on the wall in a beach house, or a restaurant by the sea.

Condition:
This costume was used, and shows is age. There are stains on the white fabric, the printed skirt, and the bib. I believe the thin string seen in photo #10 was used to keep the back of the costume in place on the child wearing it. The closure on the bib is a hook and eye, but the eye is a few pieces of thread in stead of the metal eye. Overall, there is wear that is consistent with age. The makers tag reads: Costume Gallery.
