Saks Fifth Avenue The Young Circle Maharajah Dress, Embroidered Dress with Mirror Sequins, Made in India, Handwoven Cotton, 1960-1970s Dress

This is a rare Maharajah dress made for Saks Fifth Avenue The Young Circle. A gorgeous yellow/golden color with deep blue embroidered decor. Intermixed with mirror sequins makes this dress quite the collectible. Heavy attention to detail is evident. Please see the photos for details of the embroidery work.

Dress is unlined, and closes with a back center metal zipper.

There is no size label. The approximate size of this dress is a 4 - 6.
And with the zipper only going a short distant down the back, you need to be small to put this beauty over your head.

Condition:
This vintage dress is in good condition overall. There is a small area with loose threads on the right sleeve (photo #). The back has two stains (photo# ). I didn’t even see them when I was hand washing this dress. I noticed them when I was steaming it. There is also a light black mark on the back towards the edge (photo # ).
