M J Hummel 1971 Heavenly Angel Annual Plate, Framed, Ready to Hang, Hand Painted Porcelain, 100th Anniversary, 1871-1971, Hum 264

Hummel collectible annual plates were first issued in 1971 by the Goebel company, based on the artwork of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, a German nun. These plates feature charming depictions of children, which are characteristic of Hummel's style. Each year, a new plate was introduced, and collectors eagerly awaited the release of these limited-edition designs.

This is the highly collectible inaugural 1971 Heavenly Angel plate (Hum No 264). It's already framed in a delightful wooden frame and ready to hang! I advise you replace these sticky pads behind the plate before hanging; see condition below.

Condition:
The piece is in fine vintage condition with minimal wear. There are a few very light nicks in the wood but the plate appears in perfect shape. The sticky pads that hold the plate in have lost some of their stickiness/holding power. I advise you replace these sticky pads behind the plate before hanging. Please see photos for more details and don't forget to use the zoom feature!
