Antique Brown Bottle, Amber, SB and G Co 21, Applied Crown Finish, Ale Bottle, Export Beer, Ginger Ale Bottle, Stout, Porter, Soda (WTH-282)
$11.00
This antique bottle weighs 1 pound! It has an amazing waviness (photo #3) to the glass too. Originally used for beer, it would have been reused to hold soda or cider during the turn of the century. Despite a few imperfections, this bottle will make a great addition to any collection.
The makers mark, S B & G CO 21 is on the bottom. (Streator Bottle & Glass Co. 1881-1905)
Measurements
9.5" tall
1" diameter (top)
2.5" diameter (bottom)

Condition:
I have cleaned the outside of the bottle, not the inside. There is a chip on top lip outside and inside (photo #4), a nick on side near seam close to the bottom (photo #5), and bubbles in glass (photos #3 and 5). Amazing waviness in this bottle(photo #3) from mouth blown technique!! There is a light cloudy line along the middle/lower neck area; from sitting in water, I presume. Please see the photos for details - use zoom.
It is known that all vintage and antique purchases are used. Although we try to give as much detail as possible in our listings, please note that many of our items are vintage and therefore will carry the marks and scuffs of well-loved pieces. All purchases are sold AS IS.
