Vintage Japanese Geisha Crewel Needlework - Framed Artwork, Excellent Craftsmanship, Cross Stitch, Needlepoint, Elegant

This stunning crewel embroidery features a Japanese Geisha woman, her back turned, playing a lute. All set in front of a background of reeds and greenery, and a small stream of water. There are colorful and patterned folded fans throughout the front of this work a well.

It doesn't get more fabulous than this! I believe this piece to have been hand made during the 1950's or 1960's. This work of art is signed on the back; Helen Steinff. There is also a label of the framers: Bobbies Hobbies, Boston, VA. The embroidery art is framed in a simple gold and tan wooden frame allowing all the attention to be on the work of art.

A desirable work of art for an embroidery/crewel collector, or to enjoy in any interior!
