Pair of Vintage Brass Pagoda Gate Bookends, Korea, Chinese Decor, Book Holders,Hollywood Regency, Namdai-Moon Brass South Gate,1950s

Here is fabulous pair of Hollywood Regency brass pagoda bookends from the 1950s.

They would fit perfectly in a mid century inspired interior. Each bookend folds flat and includes a hinged bottom. Please note, one is one is missing the tiny rod/stick that holds the hinge in place. It will stay up when a book is there; please see condition below.

Condition:
One brass bookend is in good condition but missing a little tiny metal piece that fits into the bottom. I used a sturdy toothpick for the photo (#5). You can also fit a small metal rod inside and clip off for even more stability. The sand stays up when a book is there. Photo #10 shows what the metal prong looks like in place on all other three connections. One stand shows more wear than the other. Please see photos for more details and don't forget to use the zoom feature!
